General Policies and Terms of Sale

Handmade products: All our items are carefully handmade. Each creation is unique. Slight variations in texture, wood grain, or resin pours may be present compared with the photos. These characteristics are part of the charm and authenticity of a handmade product and cannot be considered defects.

Colors and appearance: Colors may vary slightly from those shown in photos due to lighting during photography, your screen settings (computer or mobile), and the handmade production process.

Dimensions and weight: All dimensions and weights are measured manually. A slight variation of a few millimeters or grams may therefore be observed from one piece to another. These differences are normal and do not affect the quality or strength of the product.

Natural aging: Wood is a living material that may move, expand, or contract depending on the humidity in your home. Epoxy resin may develop slight yellowing over time, especially if exposed to UV rays.

Strict care instructions: To preserve the beauty and durability of your creation, you agree to use the product indoors only, avoid prolonged or direct exposure to sunlight and UV rays, avoid exposure to extreme temperatures (direct heat sources, radiators, freezing), never place products in a dishwasher, conventional oven, or microwave oven, clean only by hand with a soft, clean, slightly damp cloth, never use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, alcohol, acetone, or chemical solvents, and handle your creation with care to avoid scratches, chips, and impacts.

Use and food safety: Unless otherwise stated in writing in the product description, our items are not designed for direct knife cutting on the resin portion. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify that the product is suitable for the intended use. The company disclaims all responsibility in case of misuse or failure to follow the care instructions.

Price changes: We reserve the right to modify our prices at any time and without notice. The price applicable to an order is the price displayed on the website at the time the purchase is confirmed.

Taxes and customs fees: Applicable taxes (GST/QST) are calculated at checkout. For any order shipped outside Canada, customs fees, import duties, or applicable local taxes are the full responsibility of the buyer.

Secure payment method (Stripe): All transactions made on our website are fully processed securely through the Stripe platform. No banking data or credit card number is stored on our own servers. By making a purchase, you also accept the terms of use of the Stripe platform.

Delivery information: The customer is responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address. We are not responsible for delivery address errors provided by the customer or any resulting reshipping fees.

Carrier responsibility: Once the package has been handed over to the carrier, delivery times are beyond our control. Therefore, we are not responsible for delivery delays caused by the carrier, nor for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery.

Package damaged during transport: If your package arrives visibly damaged during transport, you must contact us in writing (email) within a maximum of 48 hours following receipt. You must provide clear photos of the unopened packaging, the damaged package, and the broken item. After this 48-hour period, no transport-related claim can be accepted.

Final sales: Due to the handmade, unique, and personalized nature of our products, all sales are final. Items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Exceptions: The only accepted exchanges or refunds are limited to cases of an error on our part (wrong item) or if the product is received damaged, subject to compliance with the conditions in section 4.

Legal warranty: These policies do not reduce or restrict the legal warranties provided under the Quebec Consumer Protection Act.

All elements present on this website (texts, logos, designs, images, photographs, product descriptions) are the exclusive property of our company. Any reproduction, copying, distribution, or commercial use of this content, in whole or in part, without our prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.

These policies are governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws in force in the province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply. Any dispute arising from the use of the website or a purchase made through it will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of our administrative region (Montérégie, Quebec).

By making a purchase on our online shop, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted all of these sales policies.

Collection and use of data: The information you provide to us (name, address, email) is used only to process your orders, communicate with you, and improve your shopping experience.

Transaction processing (Stripe): To ensure maximum security, all credit card transactions are handled directly by our partner Stripe. Stripe is certified according to the industry’s strictest security standards (PCI-DSS Level 1). During payment, your financial information is encrypted and transmitted directly to Stripe without ever passing through our site, ensuring that we never have access to your banking data.

Data sharing: Your information will never be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. It is transmitted only to trusted partners strictly necessary to fulfill your order (the Stripe platform for payment and the delivery service for shipping).

Data security: We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no Internet data transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Therefore, although we take necessary precautions, we cannot guarantee 100% protection.

User responsibility: We recommend that you protect your account information, keep your password confidential, and log out after each use, especially when using a shared or public device.

Changes: We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time to comply with applicable laws (including Law 25 in Quebec). Any changes will be published directly on this page.
